 The Department of Commerce was established in the year 1986. It the courses in M. Com. and M. Phil Commerce. It also conducts Ph.D Programmee on different aspects of commerce. It imparts teaching and training in various major fields like Financial Management, Business Studies, Banking Management ,Cooperative Management and Small Business & Entrepreneurship.

 The availability of any specialization group, in any academic year, depends on the availability of faculty and facilities for the teaching and training and also subject to the competence of students as judged by their graduation and two semesters scores in M.Com.
